HoneyCreek's Red Ruby
Ruby is doing well in her first pregnancy so far, due date was scheduled to be around the 10th of May but I do not think she will wait that long. Milk bags are starting to form which usually means 3-5 days before birth so she is being watched and cared for very carefully.
Now spending most of her time in our home close so we can be ready. Whelping box ready for her and she knows it as she has been checking it out. She has seen the others in it and I think she knows what it is meant for.
As this is her first litter I have no idea what to expect from her puppy wise or reaction to birth wise but if what she did when other pups where around I expect she will be a very good mother. She always was licking and gently playing with the other litters so expect nothing different from her on her own puppies.
So we are in countdown mode for her giving her extra special attention and a whole lot of loving. I just cannot what to see what Ruby and Rusty have produced. A Tri Red with a Tri Black, yes there will be Tri's but what else may we get? Hoping for some Red Merles, beautiful!
